Job Description

Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a vital role in developing and implementing treatment plans aimed at enhancing residents' swallowing, cognitive, and communication skills, as well as reducing the risk of aspiration. The focus of communication treatment plans includes techniques that not only facilitate clearer expression for the individual but also improve their understanding of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with established facility policies and procedures to provide high-quality care and services to residents.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize residents' communication and swallowing abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
• Valid Texas License or compact license required.

Work Schedule

Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. No weekend or on-call requirements.
