Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute or chronic conditions.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation.
• Conduct discharge planning and patient education, specifically regarding renal and fluid management.

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS certification
• Basic Cardiac Rhythm required (EKG competency)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
• Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills
• IV insertion and care, central line management
• Proficiency in trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and glucommander use

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• National certification in Medical-Surgical or Nephrology Nursing
