The Albany Med Health System Staffing Alliance provides staffing support for the System's four member hospitals in upstate New York: Albany Medical Center, Columbia Memorial Health, Glens Falls Hospital, and Saratoga Hospital. Saratoga Springs

MRI Technologist ensures that all ferromagnetic materials are located outside of scan room. Demonstrates knowledge of ACR guidelines regarding Zones of Safety in an MRI suite. Demonstrates knowledge of correct emergency shutdown procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of proper fire and safety evacuations. Provides verification that all ancillary equipment is operational (monitoring devices, injectors, etc.). Technologist ensures that procedure room is clean within Infection Control standards. Inspects room for potential environment of care hazards (call bells, O2 tank/outlets, lighting) and reports discrepancies to supervisor in a timely manner. Checks patient transfer/transport equipment to ensure compliance with safe operational standards. Operates required equipment necessary to produce scans using established guidelines and MRI Protocols. Properly identifies and explains procedure to patient. Starts IV access according to standard procedure and injects media under the direction of a physician. Prepares and positions patients for procedure by using established MRI protocols to achieve the highest quality image. Assists in maintaining supply inventory.
 
 Minimum Qualifications: Must have 2 years experience in a hospital setting &amp; NYS License. Must know EPIC EMR.

Travel Allied Health Professional - MRI Technologist

As the CT Technologist, you will perform CT Scans for patients as directed by the Radiologist. You will prepare patients for CT Scans (screening, contrast distribution and IV insertion) as well as assist with setup and scanning during interventional CT procedures. The CT Tech will interpret imaging orders prior to scans and assesses image quality after scanning.
 
 Minimum Qualifications: Must have 2 years experience in a hospital setting, NYS License, ARRT. Must know EPIC EMR.

D5E is a neurosciences unit. The PCU has 22 neuro progressive care beds with patients requiring monitoring from every 15 minutes to every 2 hours. Patients in the PCU are those with fresh strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages, TPA administration – either initiated or maintained on the unit, craniotomies, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, SEPS drains, anti-hypertensive medication drips such as Cleviprex and other neuro patients requiring close monitoring. 
 
 Minimum Qualifications: Must have 2 years RN experience in a hospital setting &amp; NYS RN License. Must have SEPS &amp; EVD experience. Must know EPIC EMR.

Immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery ICU. This patient population requires intensive hemodynamic monitoring and active titration of vasopressors and or inotropes. Patients require cardiac devices as described. Once recovered patients move out of the ICU to cardiac and vascular surgery floor.
