Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct ongoing clinical assessments, including OASIS assessments, to identify patient/client needs and determine levels of functioning.</li><li>Evaluate patients’ occupational performance in areas such as self-care, work, leisure, and rest.</li><li>Assess sensory-motor neuromuscular, psycho-social, and cognitive-perceptual components of occupational behavior.</li><li>Evaluate physical, social, and cultural components of patients’ occupational environment.</li><li>Facilitate direct therapeutic interventions to address ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental modifications.</li><li>Develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care in collaboration with patients, representatives, and caregivers.</li><li>Document clinical notes, phone orders, and other records in a timely manner.</li><li>Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence.</li><li>Provide physician-ordered services, including patient/client, caregiver, and family counseling and education.</li><li>Supervise and guide occupational therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.</li><li>Apply infection control and standard precautions to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.</li><li>Utilize effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to achieve desirable outcomes.</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.</li><li>Licensure: Current State License as an Occupational Therapist, Current driver’s license required.</li><li>Experience: One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
