1 RN for 20 residents, 8-10 per LPN and 4-6 per CNA. Residents will be geriatric long term care with wound care but no trachs. No acute care needs will be in the facility. Opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long term care environment. Duties include direct patient care including medication administration and oversight of CNA colleagues. Job Title: Central Sterile Technician Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Full Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Monday–Friday + Rotating Weekends Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week RTO: No RTO accepted for new contracts <h3>Job Summary:</h3>Seeking a Central Sterile Technician responsible for inspecting, decontaminating, disinfecting, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing reusable surgical instruments and equipment according to established procedures and manufacturer guidelines. <h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Inspect, disinfect, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments/equipment</li><li>Operate Sterrad sterilizers, steam sterilizers, washer/disinfectors, scope washers, and ultrasonic cleaners</li><li>Maintain sterilization records and monitor cycle parameters</li><li>Conduct biological and chemical monitoring per AAMI standards</li><li>Assemble and perform quality checks on surgical instrument trays</li><li>Reprocess instruments according to hospital guidelines</li><li>Handle inventory and ensure proper care of supplies/equipment</li><li>Follow infection control and bloodborne pathogen safety procedures</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized work environment</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Extended coursework in sterilization techniques required</li><li>Minimum 6 months of sterile processing experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and decontamination procedures</li><li>Understanding of AAMI, AORN, OSHA, and JCAHO standards</li><li>Strong communication and attention to detail skills</li></ul><h3> </h3>
