Position Summary:
Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.
Qualifications
<ul>
 <li>Completion of a formal accredited Cardiovascular Sonography/Echocardiography Tech program.</li>
 <li>1+ years of experience preferred as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular (inpatient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent), adult and geriatric patients.</li>
 <li>Current BLS</li>
 <li>Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI within 6 months of hire. 
 <ul>
 <li>if registered with ARDMS, RDCS is required</li>
 <li>if registered with CCI, RCS is required</li>
 </ul></li>
 <li>Vascular Certification is preferred</li>
