Pros

Gave a couple hundred for gas/travel to Pennsylvania

Cons

This company - and definitely recruiter Michaela Sturgeon - were horrible choices for my first travel assignment. She obviously did not know much about her role but was very good at covering it and making me feel comfortable with her heartfelt words of encouragement and ending calls with i love you. That is until she refused to answer my calls and coldly texted that everything needed to be texted to her instead. After a 2 day drive from home I got out there to be told they didn’t have everything in order for me to start right away. When the day came for me to start, the facility didn’t even know i was coming.. For several weeks after i started i was getting nasty messages from more than one TLC staff about not uploading timesheets. I told Michaela repeatedly that it would not let me, but it wasn’t until about 3 people later that someone actually took the time to listen to me and see that it wasn’t that i was refusing, i just had not been given the right information to do it with! They sent me to the worst place i have ever been, and where they knew nothing about because no one had ever agreed to go there! The staff were awful to anyone not in their mold and would run off anyone who they just didn’t like for any reason including color. The residents were neglected, ignored, treated disrespectfully, with many staff using foul vulgar language in front of them. The whole building was full of backbiting drama and “secret” affairs that took more precedent than resident care. My personal safety was threatened by staff - TLC did nothing. My professional license was being put on the line by staff lies - Michaela would not even pick up the phone for me to discuss this with her. No support! Not enough money! Hard to keep your own dignity working for them! Thank God i found American Medical Staffing!!!
