I was working with Rachel regarding a contract, and everything was going well until I asked about a day shift position. She initially told me it was not available, which I understood. However, I later received a message from her stating “it isn’t good” and wishing me luck with a “third company.” This response was both unprofessional and rude, especially considering I had not accepted a contract elsewhere. I was simply asking questions to better understand my options. The assumptions made were inaccurate and the tone of communication was unnecessary. Her manager later contacted me and acknowledged disappointment in how the situation was handled, which further reflects the lack of professionalism in this interaction. Overall, this experience was disappointing and not reflective of respectful or professional communication.
