<h3>Labor &amp; Delivery RN </h3>Position Overview:This role encompasses comprehensive perinatal care including labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal nursing. The RN will float between units as needed and must be flexible with on-call and weekend responsibilities. Nurses are expected to manage patient care independently and in collaboration with the healthcare team in a variety of obstetric settings. <h3>Position Details:</h3><ul><li>Floating Between Units: Yes</li><li>On-Call Requirement: Yes</li><li>Weekends Required: Yes – Every other to every third</li><li>Block Scheduling: Not required</li><li>Approved Weekly Hours: 48 hours approved</li><li>Patient Ratios: <ul><li>Labor: 1:1</li><li>Postpartum: 1:2</li><li>Nursery: 1:4</li></ul> </li></ul> <h3>Clinical Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Certifications: <ul><li>NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)</li><li>Fetal Monitoring</li></ul> </li><li>Experience with: <ul><li>Epic EMR</li><li>Sterile Vaginal Exams</li><li>Circulating for C-sections</li><li>Triage of obstetric patients</li></ul> </li><li>Care Settings: <ul><li>Labor &amp; Delivery</li><li>LDRP</li><li>Antepartum </li></ul></li></ul>

<h3>Position Details:</h3><ul><li>Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)</li><li>Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, depending on acuity</li><li>Weekends Required: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule</li><li>Holidays: Holiday rotation required</li><li>Floating: Yes – within scope to meet facility needs</li><li>Call Requirement: Not applicable</li><li>Guaranteed Hours: May be canceled one shift per 2 weeks</li><li>Block Scheduling: At manager’s discretion</li></ul><h3>Licensing &amp; Certifications:</h3><ul><li>Required License: SC RN or Compact Multi-State License</li><li>Required Certifications: <ul><li>BLS (AHA only)</li><li>PALS (AHA only)</li></ul> </li><li>Preferred Certifications: <ul><li>ACLS (AHA only)</li></ul> </li></ul>
