Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Radiography Instructor to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As a Radiography Instructor, you will play a critical role in educating and training the next generation of radiologic technologists. Your dedication to teaching and your expertise in radiography will help our students achieve their educational and career goals. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality instruction to students in the radiography program, covering a range of topics in radiologic technology. * Create engaging lesson plans, course materials, and assessments to ensure effective learning outcomes. * Provide hands-on training in radiographic procedures and techniques, including positioning and radiation safety. * Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success. * Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their educational goals. * Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and updates in radiologic science to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date. * Collaborate with other faculty members to maintain program quality and accreditation standards. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field (Master's degree preferred). * Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. * Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist. * Previous teaching or instructional experience is a strong advantage. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Passion for educating and mentoring students in the field of radiography.
