Director of Nursing (DON) - 1st Shift

Position Details * Job Status: Full-Time * Shift: 1st Shift Brookstone Estates of Paris is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team! Responsibilities: * Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences. * Coordinates the Community's infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance. * Develops and oversees the Community's medication management program. * Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. * Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team members and resident information. * Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits (home visits, hospital visits). * Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident. * Delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents. * Engages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience. * Fosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members.
