Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Chesapeake, VA

We are currently looking for a primary care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our primary care practice in Chesapeake, VA. * Outstanding opportunity to join our well-established private practice and work alongside 3 board certified family medicine physicians, 3 family medicine nurse practitioners and a tenured support staff * We have provided the Chesapeake and Hampton Roads communities with the full spectrum of primary care services for over 30 years to patients of all ages * Our practice is committed to the betterment of our community through assistance in training the next generation from ODU and EVMS * Our providers have access to an on-site laboratory and phlebotomist and a fully integrated EMR Qualifications: * 1+ years of primary care experience required, no new grads considered * Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills * Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations * State licensure and board certification is required About Chesapeake, VA: * Chesapeake is a suburban community in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater region, adjacent to the Newport News-Norfolk-Virginia Beach coastline. * Residents are within driving distance to Charlottesville, Richmond, Washington, D.C., and Williamsburg. * It is situated near Norfolk Naval Base and 22 miles of waterway for fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and water sports. * Chesapeake has over two million residents, two local airports, a thriving economy, and some of the best schools in the state of Virginia. * The community is within close proximity to multiple colleges and universities including Christopher Newport University, College of William & Mary, Eastern Virginia Medical School, and Old Dominion University.
