Details

  • Departments: Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby/Postpartum, Level III NICU 
  • Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week. Night Shift 7p-7:30a. Weekend/Holiday Rotation.
  • Hospital: Ascension St. Agnes
  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Sign-on Bonus: Up to $15,000.00
  • Salary: $38.50 - $55.02 per hour

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established
policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Primarily floats to one or more
specialty units as defined by market.

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as
    appropriate.
  • Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's care need with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart. Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
    hire.

Additional Preferences

Requires a minimum 3 years recent work experience as a Registered Nurse in Maternal Child Health Services (Labor & Delivery experience highly preferred, Mother-Baby/Postpartum, and/or NICU).
