How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Provides charge nurse leadership, supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient assignments, and serving as a clinical resource on the unit.
  • Monitor and communicate real-time patient conditions to the care team, enabling swift clinical decisions and personalized adjustments to care plans.
  • Provides charge-level nursing care for adult patients with complex GI and Vascular needs, ensuring every action aligns with the highest safety standards.
  • Prepare patients and their families for a successful transition home by leading comprehensive discharge planning and education.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date reqired. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
