How you’ll make an impact in this role

• You will work in our 7 bed  Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU/CICU) unit providing advanced care for infants, children, and young adults with congenital or acquired heart disease.
• A Sanctuary for Complex Needs: We expertly manage patients requiring the highest level of care, including recovery from intricate surgeries, advanced mechanical support (like VADs), and life-changing cardiac transplantation.
• Our Expert Team: You will be part of  a compassionate and highly skilled team, including dedicated pediatric cardiologists, world-class surgeons, and specialized, heart-focused nurses.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing by hire date to position required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Previous Pediatric and/or adult cardiovascular experience
