How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assist physicians or Advanced Practice Providers during exams and procedures within a family medicine residency office.
• Manage patient follow-ups and continuity of care.
• Educate patients on disease management and prevention, medications and lifestyle.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions.
• Conduct telephone triage and escalate issues to providers when needed.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
  transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills within a family, primary or internal medical office experience.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
