Schedule: Full-time | Rotating shifts
- (4) nine hour OR (5) eight hour weekday shifts.
- Schedule is based on department needs.
- Call requirement including holidays, nights and weekends.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
Provide vigilant post-anesthesia care to ensure patients recover safely and comfortably following surgical and procedural interventions.
Closely monitor airway, vital signs, and level of consciousness to quickly identify complications and deliver timely, life-saving interventions when needed.
Manage and optimize patient comfort by assessing pain levels and administering appropriate interventions to support a smooth recovery experience.
Anticipate recovery needs based on surgical procedures performed to proactively address potential risks and promote positive clinical outcomes.
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and surgical teams to ensure seamless transitions from the operating room through discharge or admission.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program required.
Work Experience:
- One year of experience as a Staff Registered Nurse is required.
- Previous experience in a critical care or PACU setting is preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Previous PACU or equivalent critical care experience preferred.
