This position is eligible for a sign on bonus- New Hires Only # Position#Summary To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice. Primary Position Responsibilities Initial Intake Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care Patient Order Point of Care Patient Safety Attend Staff Meetings Work Contact Group (Internal/External) Physicians and residents at various levels of training, patients, patient#s families, outpatient office staff personnel, some HMC dept. personnel, representatives from laboratory pharmaceutical companies. Reporting Relationships Reports to (position): Nurse Manager and or Nurse supervisor Practice Manager, Office Manager, Practice Director Supervises (position(s): Supervises-clinical staff in absence of Nurse supervisor/manager Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Nursing diploma Preferred: Associate#s Degree in Nursing Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: None Preferred: None License, Registry or Certification: Required: Graduate from an accredited nursing school; current New Jersey RN liscence, CPR certified ,or obtain certification within 6 months Preferred: None Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, telephone etiquette, detail and multitasking oriented, ability to handle a high volume of patients Preferred: None This position is eligible for a sign on bonus- New Hires Only Position Summary * To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice.
