MedStar National Rehab Hospital is seeking a dedicated and visionary Director of Nursing to lead the department of Resource Management. As a member of our Division of Nursing's (DON) leadership/management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care in this specialized field. National Rehabilitation Hospital is the region’s largest acute rehabilitation hospital.

Position Overview
The Director of Nursing Resource Management is responsible for the leadership and management of the several key departments such as Cardiac/Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury. Recognized as a professional role model who promotes an environment that supports the goals, mission, vision, philosophy and values of the Division of Nursing and MedStar Health. Facilitates the cost-effective utilization of available resources (human, material and financial) and ensures a high level of quality of care that is consistent with established standards of nursing practice for the patient populations served.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the operational, personnel, and financial activities of the unit to ensure efficient and effective resource utilization.
Direct and coordinate the activities of professional and support personnel within the unit.
Collaborate with the nursing leadership team, Medical Staff, and leaders of other departments/disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and MedStar Health's mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required

• DC RN License

• Minimum of five years of nursing experience required

• Three years of nursing leadership experience preferred

This position has a hiring range of : USD $120,702.00 - USD $238,222.00 /Yr.
