RN Supervisor STARTING RATE: $36.00/hr. ($36.00 - $40.00/hr., dependent on experience) SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $3,500 SHIFT: Days, Overnights, Part-Time, Full-Time, or Per-Diem BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Weekend Warrior Positions - Work 32 Hours and Get Paid for 40 * Instant Pay Options * Referral Bonuses * Flexible Schedules * Peer Mentorship JOB DESCRIPTION: The Nursing Supervisor promotes patient health by overseeing the day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area, including monitoring departmental staff nursing activities and educational programs to ensure that all policies, procedures, standards, and regulations are followed. This position collaborates with physicians and other medical practitioners to support patients and their family members physically and emotionally. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work closely with RNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units and supervise unit employees * Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department. * Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department * Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their families * Support nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees * Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed at all times while also making suggestions for improvements * Provides information to Residents and health care team. * Maintains documentation of Resident care services. * Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting.
