FTE:.1.0 _, Shift: Monday -Friday_, Schedule: _Business hours Position Summary The Research Nurse is responsible for a variety of activities to include the development and coordination of research activities. The research nurse is expected to apply solid principles of leadership, human relations, and continuous quality improvement to insure the growth and fiscal success of the Research Department. The incumbent will have an integral role in the operations of the Research Department by helping to evaluate clinical trials for implementation at various locations throughout MHS. Work situations are varied and require strong organization, prioritization, data analysis, verbal and written communication skills, the use of discretion, good judgement, problem solving, decision-making and leadership. Requirements * Master's degree in Nursing * PhD in Nursing, DNP, or ARNP preferred * Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) * BLS certification * Two (2) years of experience in clinical research with knowledge of regulatory requirements, informed consent design, informed consent process and conduct of clinical trials * Two (2) years of hospital experience with knowledge of oral and parenteral medication administration systems * Prior experience as a research coordinator, GCP training and/or Research * Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.26 - $69.49 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
