Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Family Medicine Mount Joy

Summary Job Description LG Health Physicians Family Medicine Mount Joy is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. As part of a highly productive team, consisting of 3 Physicians, delivery of comprehensive, quality care for patients of all ages - from newborns to geriatrics is our specialty. The provider team emphasizes wellness and prevention, helps patients manage chronic conditions, provides timely care in the event of an illness or injury, and brings direct access to the most advanced treatment options. Family Medicine Mount Joy continues to be recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). A Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that strengthens the physician-patient relationship through accessibility, excellent communication, and utilizing the latest information technology. Our team based care approach ensures patients receive the highest standard of care with direct access to services to promptly meet each patient's needs. Hours: Full-time hours. Position includes evening, weekend, and on-call rotation Job Requirements Nurse Practitioner * Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania * Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse * Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required * Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred Physician Assistant * Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine * Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program * Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred #LI-SG1 Disclaimer: This job description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
