Qualifications and requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.

• Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, evaluating and/or directing educational activities of clinical personnel.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a bedside RN

Additional requirements include:

• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.

• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - Springfield provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our rehabilitation hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) as well as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for inpatient rehabilitation. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield was nationally ranked in the top 6% of rehab hospitals for 2017.
