How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) PACU who excels in this role will:
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Meet the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families
- Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment
- Reports to the Director of Surgery
What we're looking for
The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) delivers critical post‑operative nursing care, ensuring patient stability, comfort, and rapid response to changing conditions after anesthesia.
Additional requirements include:
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS required
- ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire (PALS not required for Pain Clinic RNs)
