Director Of Nursing

A skilled health care facility in the Greater Glens Falls area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team. This is a key role for a proven clinical leader who is passionate about quality care and staff development.

We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility providing both short-term post-acute care and long-term care services. Our team of professionals delivers 24-hour skilled nursing, therapy, and specialized programs designed to help residents achieve their highest level of health and independence. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all nursing staff in the facility

• Develop, implement, and uphold nursing policies and procedures

• Oversee hiring, training, and professional growth of nursing staff

• Ensure proper staffing levels and maintain high standards of care

• Monitor compliance, staff performance, and resident outcomes

• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the nursing team

Qualifications

• Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in long-term care

• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
