Registered Nurse RN PACU

As a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN at Novant Health’s Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, you’ll be trusted to deliver expert care to our patients after surgery.  From prep and recovery in both phase 1 and phase 2, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most. 

 

This Full-Time role is ideal for experienced PACU RNs looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team in surgical services.

 

*PACU, Emergency Department and/or ICU experience strongly preferred*

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. 
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

• Respond quickly and effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

 

• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during every phase of care

 

• Use critical thinking and clinical judgement to support positive outcomes

Pay

Average North Carolina Staff Position Pay

$31.71/hour
