Clinic CMA Center for Children Team Lead

Overview Plans, develops and organizes various clinical and administrative support activities in the clinic ensuring effective and efficient delivery of quality health care. This position serves the following patient age categories: pediatrics, adolescents, adult and geriatric. talent pool: nursing support Responsibilities Adapts to changing environment and engages in flexible problem solving behavior and conflict resolution.--------------------------------------------------Attends/conducts required meetings and participates in professional developmental activities as decided jointly by the administration.--------------------------------------------------Coordinates Team Member work activities with staff schedules and ensures that office space, supplies, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately.--------------------------------------------------Maintains information in a confidential manner, in accordance with State, Federal, and Practice guidelines.--------------------------------------------------Responsible for effective management of resources.--------------------------------------------------Works closely with Clinic Site Manager to ensure that site operations are effective and consistent with overall division and Cone Health system.-------------------------------------------------- Qualifications EDUCATION:Required:Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or Practical Nursing preferred. EXPERIENCE:Required:3 to 5 years of clinical and administrative experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Required:Current and active certification as a medical assistant by one of the following: American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (RMA), National Healthcare Worker's Association (NHCWA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), National Registry of Medical Assistants (NRMA).PREFERRED
