City/State Norfolk, VA Overview Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring an RN Unit Coordinator for our Cardiac Telemetry Unit! This 24 bed Medicine Cardiac Unit offers all rooms' telemetry and eHospital monitoring. Subspecialty patient populations to include oncology, stroke, diabetes, GI, inpatient hospice, and general medical. Up to $20,000 Sign on Bonus! Please ask the recruiter for details. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service. 18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty. Behavioral Health - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire. Emergency Care - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 90 days of hire. BLS required within 90 days of hire. Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
