Quality Improvement Nurse


City/State Woodbridge, VA Overview Work Shift First (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge is hiring a Full-Time Quality Improvement Nurse! The Quality Improvement Nurse is responsible for supporting system-wide improvement initiatives within the hospital to ensure effective and timely performance improvement. Coordinates performance improvement activities including medical record review, occurrence/complaint investigation and tracking. Assists with quality improvement studies/activities as requested. Participates in data collection, trending, and analysis of indicators for monitoring and evaluation of quality , appropriateness and timeliness of care/service and customer satisfaction. Participates in accreditation surveys/inspections. Requires strong knowledge base in areas of clinical care and quality improvement. Requires flexibility in work schedule. Qualifications: * BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Nursing (Required) * Current State issued Registered Nurse license. * Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, * Previous experience in Acute Care setting Keywords : RN, Quality Improvement, Policy Writing, Training Job Summary The Quality Improvement Nurse is responsible for supporting system-wide improvement initiatives within the hospital to ensure effective and timely performance improvement.
