The Cardiac Catheterization Nurse III assists physicians during cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology and other cardiovascular procedures by circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing for procedures Requirements: * Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. * Minimum of two (2) years recent experience in interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab or two (2) years' experience in ICU, CCU, or Diagnostic Catheterization Lab and successful completion of Northside Hospitals' comprehensive training program for coronary interventional Catheterization Lab under the direction of assigned preceptor within 6 months. * Must take emergent coronary interventional call (PCI & STEMI) with a 30-minute arrival time. * RN's must become a Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within three (3) years from date of hire or transition. * Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). * Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). * Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
