Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Warrior and Bailer

RN (Registered Nurse) Weekend Warrior and Bailer STARTING RATE: $50.00/hr. ($50.00 - $52.50/hr., dependent upon experience) SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $7,500 SHIFT: Work two doubles during the week and every other weekend. Work 32 hours, get paid for 40. BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Instant Pay Options * Referral Bonuses * Flexible Schedules - Full & Part-Time Openings * Peer Mentorship * Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: A Registered Nurse supports residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention by developing, managing, and monitoring nursing care plans tailored to meet each resident's medical, physical, and emotional needs. The RN oversees the day-to-day clinical activities of health care personnel (e.g., LPNs and CNAs) while maintaining a nurturing environment for residents and striving to meet their maximum security and comfort needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide direct care and treatment to long-term and rehabilitation residents * Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care * Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments * Communicates with the nursing team and medical team as appropriate * Reviews and evaluates the resident care plan * Transcribes Physician orders and may assist in orientating new staff * Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 18 years of age * New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure (RN) * Experience in long-term care facility preferred * Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions * Ability to supervise and work well with and show respect toward other healthcare personnel (i.e., CNAs, LPNs, physicians, etc.), residents, and their family members * Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and oral instructions * Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness * Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Brookhaven Health Care Facility Attn: Kerri Brady - HR Recruiter 801 Gazzola Dr. East Patchogue, NY 11772 TEXT: (631)447-8800 for more information ABOUT US: The McGuire Group is a portfolio of six health care facilities in New York state, including: Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg; Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue; Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga; Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville; Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda and Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca.
