Respondents to this posting must be available to work each day for either a two and a half, or five week session. Preference must be indicated in response. Five-week summer program (25 sessions) will meet 4.5 hours/day (8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) for 5 days/week (Mon to Fri). Nursing services applied as needed for all students attending the summer programs within the buiding of assignment. * Duties include treating ill or injured students and staff, maintain accurate records of student medical needs, maintain accurate records of student visits to the nurse's office, assist teachers, principals and other staff as needed with medical issues and questions. * Communicate with parents and administration as needed. Follow all appropriate nursing protocol and provide information about relevant medical issues arising during the summer back to the home school nurse. * Coordination of pertinent medical information from home school prior to the end of the current school year.
