Responsibilities * Provide Nurse Case Management and Nursing Delegation functions including 45-day on-site assessments, individual assessment of health status, evaluation of medication administration delivery system to include: Review of Medication Administration Record(s) (MARs) Client Medications, and Physician Medication Order Form(s) (PMOF's) for individuals needing nursing delegation services. * On-call coverage for medical/nursing-related matters * Provide evaluation of competency of Certified Medication Technicians * New Member Assessments * Develop initial nursing evaluation and the nursing plan of care * Available to staff to answer questions concerning medical and/or medication issues * Perform staff training and retraining as needed/requested * Consult with Physicians, Family members and or team members, and pharmacy personnel as Needed/requested * Comply with the standards outlined in the Maryland State Board Nurse Practice Act * Compliance with the Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act What you will need for this position: * You have a positive attitude and love working with people! * A graduate of a state approved school of nursing. * Active RN license in MD * Delegating Nurse Certificate * Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, acute or long-term care environment.
