Acute Hospital Registered Nurse

You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. DaVita has contracted to support the following hospitals for all dialysis services, following are for this Waterbury Program: * Charlotte Hungerford Hospital 540 Litchfield St., Torrington * Waterbury Hospital64 Robbins Stl, Waterbury * Saint Mary's Hospital-Greater Waterbury56 Franklin St., Waterbury (If you travel between hospitals in the same day we pay your time and mileage) Some details about this position: * 3 days a week, longer shifts 12-14 hrs * 6:30 am is a typical start time * No Dialysis experience is required (we will train) 3 months on the job. * Schedule days varied days - Mon- Saturday (every other Saturday) * Some on call is required Learn more about DaVita: * DaVita Mission and Values * DaVita Facts * DaVita Rewards & Benefits * Acute Services Program * Acute Registered Nurse Requirements: * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, if this is a multiple state region we are willing to start training prior to your getting the alternate licensure. * Right now we can not consider a newer graduate RN with under 12 months of experience. * Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree * We DO NOT require you to have any specific hospital experience. Just your BSN or ASN and nursing license. You will gain exposure in many areas of the hospital: * ICU * Critical Care * Emergency (ER) * Med/Surgical * Skilled Nursing Care * And many other areas of nursing At DaVita, we strive to be a community first and a company second.
