Imaging/IR RN Internal Traveler Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full Time, Days. 4 shifts of ten hours a piece.##On Call Coverage with 30#minute response time. Pay range is between $80.00-$100.00/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer. Boulder Community health is seeking a Registered Nurse # Imaging # Internal Traveler to provide quality, evidence-based practice, direct patient care in Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, US, Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging departments. # Contracts are 13 weeks. External applications accepted New hires cannot be ex-BCH employee. Weekends Required. Benefits include: 403B Retirement Program Wellness Benefits Discounts through PerkSpot Qualifications# #ICU / IR experience required.# #Valid Colorado Registered Nurse license. #ACLS certification required by end of conditional period. #BLS required by end of conditional period. Responsibilities #Provide nursing care in conformance with current recognized nursing practice, procedures, policies and established standards of care. #Enhance the quality and timeliness of patient care by working cooperatively with other personnel. #Review all pre-procedural tests to assure patient safety. Incomplete or unusual findings are reported to the radiologist and documented prior to procedure. #Starts IV#s and access and discontinue access of Ports. #Monitor patient conditions continuously for immediate recognition, interpretation and management. #Administer intravenous sedatives for procedural/moderate sedation and titrate medications. #Facilitate inter-departmental communication with staff and physicians. #Assist Anesthesia during MRI Sedation cases. #Monitor and assist pacemaker patients during MRI exams.
