Our fast paced cardiovascular ambulatory facility is located in West Islip, NY. Shifts include Monday-Friday with weekend rotations. Job Details Responsibilities * EKG interpretation while conducting stress testing. * Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients undergoing stress testing * Triage patients walking into the clinic as well as over the phone * Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, MLPs, RNs and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. * Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. Requirements * Passion for Cardiac Nursing * 1+ years of in-patient experience * Experience reading cardiac monitors * Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree * Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration * Certification: ACLS and BLS required from the American Heart Association, Cardiac-Vascular Certification Preferred Salary Range USD $54.07 - USD $70.29 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
