Pediatric Home Care Registered Nurse (RN License), Manhattan, NY

We are looking for a Pediatric Home Care Registered Nurses to work for one of our clients, a multi-service home care organization, with locations in all boroughs of NYC, to conduct home visits in Manhattan, NY area. As a Home Care Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients within the comfort of their homes. Your primary responsibility is to help patients maintain their independence and well-being. Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Current registration in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse. Key Responsibilities: * Assess and document the patient's condition during each visit. * Perform evaluation tasks, including medication reviews and vital sign assessments. * Administer physician-prescribed medications. * Dress or redress wounds and monitor healing progress. * Provide patient and family education on proper home health care procedures and strategies. * Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other care team members. * Ensure patient comfort through palliative care. * Recommend assistive tools or devices to enhance the patient's quality of life.
