Benefits: * Health, dental, vision insurance * Tuition reimbursement up to $6000/year * Contribution and match on Retirement Plan * Five weeks paid time off * Access to Success coaches * Free parking Required Job Specific Competencies: * Provides direction and guidance for patient activities and teaching related to the perioperative experience * Coordinates activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice * Provision of nursing care to patients and families in the perioperative setting including the pre surgical and post surgical patient * Ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments/nursing interventions * Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team * Exhibits leadership skills through active participation in unit- and department-level nursing councils and committees * Lives the CARES values Requirements: * NYS licensed registered nurse required * Current CPR/BLS required * ACLS within one year required * PALS preferred * CPAN/CAPA preferred Education: * Graduate of an approved school of nursing, either AAS or BSN Experience: * Minimum of two (2) years of medical/surgical experience preferred * Cardiac monitoring preferred * Critical care preferred * Good Communication skills and skilled in customer service Reliability and flexibility Company Culture: Thompson Health has a culture of empowerment.
