Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will provide intensive monitoring of patients emerging from anesthesia
• You will provide monitoring includes airway maintenance, SA02 status, vital signs, cardiac arrhythmias, paralysis, pain management, and agitation
• You will maintain patient records and documents according to standards
• You will direct ancillary staff. Maintains vigilance of patient progression toward meeting discharge criteria
• You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
• You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
• Moderate Sedation- in house certification
• CPAN, and or/ membership of ASPAN preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years in Peri-Operative Services, for either Endoscopy, Pre-& Post-Operative Care unit, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Or ICU required to qualify for consideration
