Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:We areseeking a dynamic Medical Surgical RN to join ourteam.We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, andrecoveringadults in our patient centered care model. In thisroleyou willbe requiredto make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. Youwould bepart of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patientsin a collaborative manner.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE: 

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation 

Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team 

Analyze the assessment data todeterminethe diagnosis or issues 

Identifyexpected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation 

Act as an advocate for patient safety.  

Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment. 

Educate patientsregardingtheir medications,procedureand treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay. 

 

Requirements: 

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN licenserequired. Compact license holders have60 daysto obtain the Florida license after relocation. 

BLS-AHA Provider issued cardrequiredwithin30 daysof start 

Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred. 

1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred 

NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
