Job Summary and Qualifications

As a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will ensure optimal patient care and safety at all times. • You will perform all functions related to physiologic recording, scrubbing, and circulation within the catheterization laboratory
• You will use appropriate knowledge and skills to monitor, assess, and provide nursing intervention to patients prior to, during and after invasive cardiac procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• California RN License.

• ACLS certification
• BCLS certification
• Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or possess equivalent experience.
• Good IV insertion skills.
• AA Degree required
• 1 yr. CCL experience or 2 yrs. Adult Critical Care experience (not to include PCU, Step Down or PACU)
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a precision team.
• Must be able to quickly adapt knowledge and skills to new situations.
• Strong Hemodynamic background
• Groin management experience IABP certified preferred (Certification within 6 months of hire) NIH Scale (Certified within 6 months of hire) Impella Training (within 6 months of hire)
