Neurophysiology Tech-Reg - Peachtree Neurological Clinic

JOB PURPOSE: Perform all aspects of diagnostic testing in the EEG Lab. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform patient chart review and patient interview. 2. Perform lead placement and review impedence. 3. Perform study acquisition of routine, sleep and portable EEGs. 4. Complete documentation of all studies performed, complete monthly reports 5. Communicate with others in the lab, nursing and physician staff. 6. Manage the environment by keeping equipment clean and in working order. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing. Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work as a member of a team. Skill and ability in Microsoft Office applications. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school graduate, some college preferred. Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Poloysomnograhic Tech by BRPT MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year experience in EEG MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Poloysomnograhic Tech by BRPT
