Nurse Residency Program Saint Peters The Nurse Residency Program will: Saint Peter's is the 5th hospital worldwide to earn Magnet status SIX times in a row. Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our team. Highlights: As new graduates you will work on your unit with a preceptor 3 (12) hour shifts per week for (6-8 weeks on a Med Surg unit and 10-12 weeks on a specialty unit). You will be slotted into a FT or PT opportunity at point of hire! While demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills, the Registered Nurse skillfully administers total patient care based on individualized needs of assigned patients and families. You will: * Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards * Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multidisciplinary Plan of Care * Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care * Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy * Document all aspects of patient care You have: * Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or graduate with a BSN within 3 years of hire * BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association Available schedules: * Full Time * Part Time * Days and Nights Requirements: * Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey * BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date * BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association * ECG certification obtained during clinical orientation Grade 126
