Registered Nurse RN Radiation Therapy


Overview This is a PRN position Pay range for this position is $36.25 - $47.79/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. POSITION SUMMARY: Cancer Care Center Registered Nurses at OSF HealthCare are licensed professionals empowered to participate in an interdisciplinary approach to meet the expectations of oncology patients we serve. Registered nurses are actively involved in the continued evidence based development of best practices to ensure individualized and desired patient outcomes. The nursing practice follows the mission of the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis serving our community with the "greatest care and love." Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure/Certification: Current IL RN License. Current American Heart Association HealthCareProvider BLS CPR or approved equivalent (must include infant through adult, one and two-man rescuer, use of AED, and choking with hands-on CPR skills return demonstration, and must be pre-approved by Org Dev/Human Resources) completed prior to employment. OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) &/or a magnet approved certification or obtained within 2 years of hire. Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate or within 1 year of hire. Experience - 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN Residency program. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure/Certification: OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) Oncology Nursing Society Chemo Certificate Experience: One year or more of Oncology nursing in an outpatient setting.
