Graduate nurse residents are expected to commit to full-time employment for at least a year, as well as actively participate in all learning opportunities that are offered. Please note that monthly start dates are available. UNIT DESCRIPTION: 6 Main is a 32 bed, post-surgical and Medical telemetry unit, serving the adult population with surgical and medical acute diagnosis. We are the unit of choice for abdominal and urology surgical patients. We are trained in caring for trauma patients and receive dysrhythmia training as we have remote telemetry on our unit. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): Graduate nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact by start date. BLS required prior to orientation completion. The facility, features 312 beds, a four-story Ortenzio Heart Center, and around-the-clock complex critical care for those suffering from life-threatening injuries.
