Radiologic Technologist - Part Time Evenings

Job Description: * Reviews imaging request to determine proper exam protocols. Looks for indications of WET or STAT readings. * Confirms patient identity. * Communicates effectively with patient. Translates examination into layman terms based on professional knowledge. * Performs radiographic procedures. * Reviews processed radiographs in computer system to ensure exam is viewable, anatomically correct, and required identifiers are present. * Documents exam completion in patient medical record. * Maintains cleanliness and safety of exam areas and equipment. * Monitors supply levels and informs supervisor of ordering needs. * Notifies supervisor of any radiographic equipment malfunctions. * May participate in orientation of new Technologists. * Performs related clerical duties including, but not limited to, computer data entry maintaining logs, etc. * Performs related duties, as required. * ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification: * Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required. * New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required. * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required. * Experience with Radiology Information System, PC, radiographic equipment (i.e. portable/fixed units, c-arms, fluoroscopic equipment), required. * Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
