The Eye Surgery Center is recognized as a AAAHC certified, Cataract Innovator, state-of-the-art surgery center located in Silver Spring, MD. The surgeons, nurses, and technicians are eye surgery professionals with one clear purpose to provide you with the highest quality eye care available in an environment where comfort and convenience are our highest priority. We are a well established Ambulatory Surgical Center specializing in ophthalmology, LenSx Laser assisted cataract surgery, ORA, as well as facial plastic surgery. We are currently searching for a Full Time/Part Time Registered Nurse to work Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification/or ACLS, entry level and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
