Broward Health Medical Center FTE: 0.010000 Pool Position will work as needed. Varied hours per pay period. Varied Weekends. Completion of an accredited nursing program and completed registration for NCLEX testing. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. One year clinical experience as Nursing Assistant in a health care setting is preferred. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. One year clinical experience as Nursing Assistant in a health care setting is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills mandatory. Under the direction of an R.N., the Nurse Extern provides patient focused care such as phlebotomy, EKG and basic nursing skills, etc. to facilitate quality service outcomes.
