Registered Nurse- Acute- Weekend Program - Night

New Weekend Program Options Program Details: Option 1: Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Three (3) out of four (4) weekends per month Day Hours: 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m. Night Hours: 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. Minimum 2 years experience required Pay Rate: $40 plus applicable $2.00/hr acute differential and $3.00/hr shift differential Option 2: Work Saturday and Sunday Three (3) out of four (4) weekends per month Day Hours: 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m. Night Hours: 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. Minimum 2 years experience required Pay Rate: $38 plus applicable $2.00/hr acute differential and $3.00/hr shift differential Job Summary Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning and evaluating patients with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence and physical illnesses Educational Requirements Graduate of accredited school of nursing with an active PA license ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health and/or Addiction Nursing preferred Qualifications Current State License (RN); Current certification in CPR/BLS A minimum of two years experience in a psychiatric setting and/or drug/alcohol facility REQUIRED Ability to communicate well, both orally and written Ability to organize and facilitate patient care in an inpatient unit Ability to work within a team structure. Physical Requirements Occasional heavy lifting to assist in moving or restraining patients (approx. 100 - 350 lb.). Extensive walking and standing while performing duties required; ability to push med cart, wheelchair to transport patients on campus; ability to climb at least three flights of stairs; good oral and written communication skills. Working Conditions Weekend and holiday duty per Nursing policy. Exposure to infectious diseases. Required to intervene in psychiatric emergencies. EOE
