# *$5,000-$10,000 sign on bonus* POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates, oversees and delivers patient care system-wide using an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.# Directs and provides patient teaching activities.# Maintains standards of professional nursing practices.# Documents complete and accurate patient information in compliance with Patient Services Department policy and other regulatory agency requirements.# Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.# Coordinates family involvement in assessment and treatment of the patient.## As a scrubbed member of the operating room team, plans for and prepares the sterile field with sterile instruments and supplies, anticipating the surgeon#s needs throughout the procedures. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor#s degree in nursing required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois and required certification for respective nursing departments.# Bi-annual CPR certification required. Specialty certification in area of concentration preferred. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.# Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in a caring, considerate and concerned manner.# Willingness to accept responsibility.# Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique required.# Familiarity with medical terminology.# Good organizational skills required.# Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
